World Food Day is celebrated every year on October 16 across the globe. Several organizations that are concerned with food security like the International Fund for Agricultural Development, the World Food Program and more engaged with food safety. This day is observed to spread awareness for those who suffer from hunger and to ensure the need for food security and nutritious diets for all. The main objective of World Food Day is to consider food as a basic and fundamental human right.

The COVID-19 global health crisis has taught us to respect and value things we truly cherish and our most basic needs. These uncertain times have made many of us rekindle our appreciation for healthy food.
