ITV Studios-backed, UK prodco Twofour has appointed industry veteran Louise Hutchinson as head of entertainment.

In the newly created role, Hutchinson (pictured), who had previously worked with Thames and Lime Pictures, will be responsible for driving Twofour’s catalog of entertainment programming across both terrestrial and SVOD players. She will also be tasked with building on the company’s reputation of former entertainment series The Jump and studio entertainment format This Time Next Year.

Hutchinson will report directly to Twofour’s chief creative officer David Brindley when she joins the company in early 2021.

She joins Twofour having previously worked on some of the most successful UK entertainment and reality programs, including The Greatest Dancer, Celebrity Big Brother, The Only Way Is Essex, Celebs Go Dating and most recently BBC1′s I Can See Your Voice.

“Louise’s creative flair for developing and executing some of the biggest shows on television is beyond impressive and I can’t wait for her to get started,” said Twofour’s Brindley in a statement. “Louise’s appointment means we’re now able to add the highest senior fire power to our entertainment output which will complement our already strong documentary, factual entertainment, formats and specialist factual teams.”

Twofour’s current entertainment slate has included One World: Together at Home for BBC1, produced in collaboration with Global Citizen and the WHO; and Channel 4′s recommissioned docuseries Educating….
